Ela Brum is a credentialed trainer (CPDT-KA) with a strong background in behavior science and canine psychology. She holds a certificate in canine psychology and multiple safety certifications, including Pet First Aid, CPR, Pet Respiratory Emergencies, Safe Pet Moving, and Poisoning Response.

Ela is a long-time member of the Humane Society’s Animal Rescue Team (A.R.T.), the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), and the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). She has built her career in Southern California by combining her entrepreneurial experience with a deep passion for dogs.

Before launching her own company, Pawminded, Ela managed training operations for a premier dog boarding and training facility in Los Angeles. During the pandemic, she began volunteering at her local shelter and recently accepted a position as the shelter’s lead dog trainer, where she continues to support dogs in need of homes.

Ela is committed to helping every dog find a forever home while promoting safe, science-based training that prioritizes the health and happiness of each dog.
